MARK IT IN YOUR CALENDAR! Season Opener LIVE on the BIG SCREEN!!

The CQ NRL Bid may not have secured a Stadium or a NRL team as yet but we are all united to make the dream happen. This year the CQ NRL Bid are holding a series of live events to promote the proposed site for the stadium and also demonstrate to the NRL that Rockhampton can attract a crowd- even if we are only watching footy on the big screen.

Proudly supported by the Rockhampton Regional Council, Stage and Audio, XXXX and the CQ NRL Bid Leagues Club, the first of the live events will be the highly anticipated clash between Brisbane Broncos and the Paramatta Eels on Thursday 3rd March.

The event will be a family friendly event so, bring a picnic blanket and settle in for some live sport on the big screen. Food, drinks and alcohol will be available for purchase and VIP/corporate area will be provided for CQ NRL Bid sponsors.

For those that would like to have a more exclusive experience on the night, Coporate Boxes will also be available for purchase with more information to come on this feature very soon.

Jumping castle and activities will be available to keep the kids entertained throughout the evening.

With over 40,000 members (that's more than the South Sydney Rabbitohs), almost 13,000 social media fans and over 100 corporate partners and sponsors, the support for the Bid is still strong after its inception in 2009.
